Banking sector plays a vital role in transferring, exchanging, offering financial assistance and other services to its clients. During the demonetization period in India, banks played important role in exchanging demonetized currencies with the new denominated currency. Public sector bank in India offers various banking facilities particularly to its clients. The researcher made an attempt to measure the relationship associated between selected public sector banks and Nifty 50 and Nifty Bank with Nifty 50 during the study period.
