FDI inflows, which come as a composite bundle of tangible and intangible assets, can augment growth process through supplementing domestic investments, increasing efficiency of resource. Transfer of these tangible and intangible assets are viewed as main factors behind the FDI induced growth in the host country. “Entrepreneur is a person who discovers new idea and business opportunities, brings together funds to establish a business, organizes and manages its operations in order to provide economic goods and services, for the public. Women Entrepreneur may be defined as a woman or group of woman who initiate, organize and run business enterprise. When women move forward, the family moves, the village moves and the nation moves, but our past women were in 3 ks: kitchen, kids and knitting. There are different bodies such as NGOs, voluntary organizations, Self-help groups, institutions and individual enterprises from rural and urban areas which collectively help the women entrepreneurs in their activities. This paper based on secondary information which have been collected from different scholars and researchers, published books, articles published in different journals, periodicals, conference paper, working paper and websites. Objectives of paper include defining the meaning of FDI, trends and pattern of FDI in Indian, to describe present situation and example of successful women entrepreneur, Govt. different steps to motivate Women Entrepreneur. This paper found that there is a need of Government, non-Government, promotional and regulatory agencies to come forward and play the supportive role in promoting the women entrepreneur in India. In this way Women Entrepreneur can attract more FDI in India.
