The aim of this research is to analyse the critical factors influencing Entrepreneurial Competency (EC) for business sustainability with respect to Agri Engineering Manufacturing Companies located in the state of Karnataka, India. Manufacturing companies details related to agricultural products has been collected from relevant agriculture department and other websites. A total sample of 372 Agri Engineering manufacturing companies have been identified in the state of Karnataka. Kurtosis and Skewness of the collected primary data has been analysed using SPSS software. One – Way ANOVA has been used to test the hypothesis. The research finding shows that, the entrepreneurs are facing enormous challenges due to local competitors from unorganised sector, Foreign Direct Investment, insufficient support for capital management and non-receipt of on-time subsidy. The entrepreneurs need to recruit optimum manpower to overcome technological constraints and to attend technical, leadership skills and personality development training programs to enhance their entrepreneurial competencies.
