This is a study concerning auto spare parts retailers buying behavior. The objective of study is to identify the factors influencing buying behavior of the retailers selling automobile spare parts in Cachar region and also to find the relative worth of each of the identified factors.
In order to address the objective of the study data have been collected from forty five retailers selling automobile spare parts in Cachar district of Assam. The technique to choose the sample was judgmental one since consideration of the retailers has been made on the basis of good retail presence in the District. The questionnaire included twenty-three factors of retailers’ buying behaviour identified from the literature available on the concerned subject matter.
The study highlighted that the retailers are more concerned about the quality of products supported by standard regulation adopted by the sellers. Beside this, goodwill was also very much crucial in this regard. But it is even indicating the quality aspect of the customer satisfaction. In addition to this availability and variety of products are two factors contributing the customer satisfaction.
