Contribution of Smart Phones in India's Ecommerce Growth

Abstract

E commerce is the fastest growing industries of world, in 1991 World Wide Web was launched by Tim Berners Lee and after that in 1994 Pizza Hut delivered its pizza after receiving an online order. E commerce is one of the best boons of internet and provides Hassle free solution for all daily needs. We stand third in the world, with over 320 million internet users and Increasing Smartphone user are real boost for online industry. This has positively formed the growth of electronic commerce in India, from booking online tickets to buying shoes to paying bills. Growth and expansion of E commerce in India depends on rapid penetration of technology, be it the smart phones or broadband or net banking, has empowered the consumers to access the World Wide Web easily.

Earlier research has also pointed out the benefits of internet penetration in the E commerce industry, it's the fast adoption of big retailers and start establishing their virtual shop on WWE portal and reach now expanding to individual houses, this virtual Shop gives convince, easy payment and door step delivery which make customer delight and adding fuel for E commerce industry.
