Abstract

Inorganic nutrients, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in different doses and their combinations were evaluated for the severity of leaf blight of wheat under field conditions. Severity was maximum in the plots treated with 120 kg N hal with combination Po and K40 kg ha−1. With increasing level of nitrogen and decreasing level of potassium caused maximum disease severity and poor gain yield. Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium at the ratio of 60: 80: 80 was suitable for low disease severity and highest gain yield in West Bengal conditions.
