Resurgence of Two Spotted Mite, Tetranychus urticae Koch (Acarina: Tetranychidae) Due to Acaricides and Botanicals on Okra

Abstract

A. field trial was conducted to find ?ut resurgence of the mite pest if any, against the use of acaricides viz. dicofol, dlcofol, abamectm, phosalone, ethlOn, sulphur, and botanicals viz., pungum oil, NSKE, neem oil, azadirachtin, mahua 0.11 and PSKE at the recommended dose on okra crop. No resurgence was observed with dicofoi dicofol abamectm and phosalone, whereas encouraging performance but some resurgence with ethion (50% EC), and sulphur (35% EC) were notlced. However, resurgence in mahua oil, PSKE, pungum oil, neem oil, azadirachtin and NSKE dld not show any effectiveness against this pest.
