Abstract

The results showed significant yield increase with fertilizer and water supply and significant yield reduction due to brown spot and leaf folder injuries. Inoculations yielded strong and significant differences in level of injuries due to brown spot and leaf folder. A significant increase of grain discolouration with brown spot was also seen. Per cent yield reduction due to brown spot and leaf folder ranged from 12 - 13.3 and 12 - 18.8, respectively.
