A bioassay for induced localized resistance (ILR) to Albugo Candida in mustard was evaluated by cotyledon treatment using avirulent Alternana brassicae isolate D (103 spores/ml), Collectrotnchum jalcatum (106 spores ml), Cunidana lunata (105 spores/ml), Helminthosporum sativum (103 spores/ml), and Trichoderma harzianum isolate M1 and M2 (106 spores/ml) Tn order to evaluate the spectum of ILR, another fungal pathogens Peronospora parasitica and virulent A brassicae isolate A were used The suspension was applied by placing droplets on the adaxial surface of cotyledon Development of white rust and Alternaria blight symptoms were significantly reduced on cotyledons pre-treated with A brassicae isolate D (AbD), and H sativum compared to check Among biotic agents, AbD provided maximum localized host reistance against the pathogen. The level of protection was higher against A canadida (52.7%) P parasitica (62.0%) compared to A brassicae isolate A (20.2%)
