Abstract

Epidemics of rust, Puccinia helianthi were studied by the logistic growth model to describe the pattern of rust development on sunflower and model was used for prediction of diseases. Logistic model was found to be more appropriate in explaining epidemics of rust which could be used in developing strategies for the efficient management of rust disease.
