Studies conducted on the efficacy of neem products against the incidence of budfly (Dasyneura lini) in linseed during three consecutive rabi seasons indicated that the increase in concentration of neem leaf extract (in cow urine), neem kernel extract (in cow urine) and neem oil, the incidence of budfly was decreased and grain yield was increased. Incidence was lowest in neem oil 1% followed by NKE 3%, neem oil 0.5%, NKE-2% and phosphamidon 0.04% with the consequent increased grain yield. Admixtures of neem oils 0.5%/NKE-3% either with dimethoate or methyl demeton 0.03% further reduced the incidence and increased the yield.
