Abstract

The spraying of harmful and toxic insecticides for bees during the flowering period of Brassica were the basic problem for foraging, survival of bee colony and rearing of honeybee which consequently become bee poisoning of colony. As such, worker bees observed for foraging to collect the nectar and pollen after spraying of imidacloprid in the concentrations of 140, 168 and 196 ml ha−1 but bee poisoning were neither observed in beehive nor in the field. Spraying of imidacloprid 200 SL to the insect pest of Brassica rapa during flowering period of crop to produce hybrid seeds effective and safer for bee foragers.
