Field studies undertaken to evaluate the efficacy of some newer insecticides on leaf folder (Cnaphalocrocis medinalis) infesting rice revealed that the combination products (fipronil + fenobucarb) applied @ 1000 and 1250 ml/ha were effective in reducing leaf folder incidence followed by triazophos @ 750 mllha (fipronil + fenobucarb) @ 750 ml/ha and fipronil 5 SC @ 500 mllha during both the seasons.
