Five rabbing materials viz., rice straw, rice husk, saw dust, wheat straw and sesamum straw were tried to manage the population of Meloidogyne incognita in french bean. Out of these, rice husk @ 7 kg/m2 was most effective in reducing soil population, root galls and egg masses of M. incognita. The levels of available P, and K in soil were increased whereas N was decreased in soils after burning the rabbing materials.
