The fungitoxic properties of vapours of the oil of 122 plant species against the test fungi, Colletotrichum falcatum, Fusarium moniliforme and Curvularia lunata causing sugarcane diseases were screened. Fungitoxicity of vapours of essential oils from 18 selected plants (provided 100% toxicity) against the test fungi was compared to find out the most effective oil as fungitoxic.
