Abstract

Plant growth characters of green gram increased gradually with the increase in levels of spore load/J2. Qn the other hand nematode multiplication decreased with increased sproe load. Although maximum plant growth characters and highest reduction of number of galls, eggmasses and final nematode population in soil was observed in the treatment with 15–20 sproes/J2, the spore load of 1–5 J2 was more of less sufficient to parasitize a healthy J2 of M. incognita, rendering more than 50% nematode management. Spore concentration in the root powder was highest at the highest spore level.
