Field trial was carried out to test the efficacy of chlorfenapyr 10 SC @ 75 and 100 g ai/ha against diamondback moth (DBM) in cabbage along with recommended check endosulfan @ 700 g ai/ha, Bt @ 500 g ai/ha and untreated control. On the basis of post-treatment larval population, chlorfenapyr was found to be most effect against DBM. There was significantly less infestation at both the test concentrations (100 g ai/ha and 75 g ai/ha) of chlorfenapyr. Chlorfenapyr @ 75 g ai/ha provided optimum control of DBM, over endosulfan and Bt.
