Ten apricot varieties with their different age groups were evaluated for resistance against gummosis disease. Out of ten varieties tested, three showed resistance, two moderately resistance and five were susceptible to disease. All the varieties showed susceptibility to disease with increase in their age. Gum exudation was observed after 10 years of age of plant. Swelling around the crack was noticed in few varieties only in their old age.
