Bhavapura gen. nov. with Deltocephalus rufobilineatus Melichar as the type species belonging to the tribe Paralimnini was described and illustrated from Andhra Pradesh, India. The genus was closely related to Hengchunia vilbaste, but differed from it in having three subapical cells and structure of aedeagus and styles. Deltocephalus rufobilineatus Melichar was transferred to Bhavapura gen. nov. and re-described.
