Abstract

Field trial was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of HaNPV alone and in combination with 10% leaf extracts of Parthenium hysterophorus, Argemone mexicana, Calotropis procera and Datura stramonium. Results showed that D. stramonium increased the efficacy of HaNPV. Rest of the botanicals were found to be less effective but were better than of HaNPV alone. A. mexicana showed no effect in increasing the efficacy of HaNPV. Pod damage ranged between 18.9 and 27.1% as against 50% in control. Yield was in accordance with pod damage and ranged from 1390 to 1754 Kg/ha.
