Effect of chlorpyriphos and dichlorvos on the foraging activity of Apis mellifera l.

Chlorpyriphos repelled honey bees through contact action at 0.4 and 0.2% concentrations, however, odour had slight repellent effect at recommended dose. In case of dichlorvos, contact as well as odour action both were found quite effective in repelling the bees at all the three concentrations.
