Observations on the life cycle of Canthecona furcellata revealed that the incubation period was 8.25 days. The predator passed through five nymphal instars with total nymphal duration of 12 to17 days having an average of 14.50 days. Average adult longevity was11.62 and 22.12 days for male and female, respectively. The average pre-copulation and copulation periods were 6 days and 11.35 hrs, respectively. Pre-oviposition period was 23.37 hrs. and average fecundity was found to be 241.62 eggs with a range of 150 to 312 eggs. Average total duration of life cycle was 26.12 and 36.62 days for male and female, respectively.
