Abstract

Two glass house studies were carried out to test the effect of humic acid alone and in combination with bioinoculants like biofertilizers viz., azospirillum and phosphobacteria; bio-control agents viz., Trichoderma viride, Pseudomonas fluorescens and Arbuscular Mycorrhizal fungus (AM fungus) against Meloidogyne incognita on tomato and the effect was compared between sterilized and unsterilized soil. Application of humic acid @ 400 ppm with all the bioinoculants significantly increased the plant growth parameters and reduced the number of galls and egg masses/plant and final soil population
