Abstract

Integration of 2 or more methods decreased Rotylenchulus reniformis population under field conditions. In 2002 crop season, significant reduction of nematode population was observed in T5 (Calotropis + triazophos) treatment whereas in 2003 season, Lantana + Kalisena (Aspergillus niger based bio-agent) resulted maximum reduction. This was followed by Calotropis + carbofuran seed treatment and Lantana + triazophos soil application in 2002 and 2003 crop season, respectively. However, yield of soybean was significantly higher in Calotropis +carbofuran seed treatment (2002 crop season) and Kalisena + triazophos (2003 crop season). In both the crop seasons, R. reniformis population level was different thus, yield of soybean was directly influenced by the population density. The present study revealed that only 2 INM components were found to be effective in reducing R. reniformis population and enhancing yield of soybean.
