Efficacy of Glomus fasciculatum in comparison with neem cake and carbofuran for management of Meloidogyne incognita on black gram and green gram
Abstract
Efficacy of VAM fungus, Glomus fasciculatum in comparison with neem cake and carbofuran against Meloidogyne incognita on black gram and green gram was studied in microplots and field. In both the conditions, VAM inoculated plots at higher dose showed maximum yield and plant growth parameters of two crops. Maximum reduction of number of galls, egg masses and final nematode population in soil was recorded in carbofuran treated plots at (2 kg a.i./ha) followed by 1 kg a.i./ha), VAM and neem cake treated plots at higher dose.
