The treatment of deltamethrin (10 g a. i./ha) proved most effective against fruit borer followed by endosulfan (1.0 lit./ha.) and HaNPV (400LE/ha) and neemgold (1.25 lit./ha.) proved least effective followed by Trichogramma chilonis (4.5 lac/ha.), azadirachtin (1.5 lit./ha.) and Bt kurstaki (0.5 kg/ha.) and Bt aizawai (0.5 kg./ha.) existed in middle order. The maximum yield of marketable tomato fruits and minimum avoidable loss was obtained in deltamethrin followed by endosulfan and HaNPV, whereas, minimum yield was recorded in the treatment of azadirachtin followed by neemgold and T. chilonis. The maximum net profit of Rs. 44,569/ha was obtained in the treatment of deltamethrin followed by endosulfan (Rs. 38,789/ha) and HaNPV (Rs. 36,187/ha.). The minimum net profit of Rs. 16,484/ha was obtained in the treatment of azadirachtin followed by T. chilonis (Rs 18,175/ha) and neemgold (Rs 18,473/ha). The highest B: C ratio was computed in the treatment of deltamethrin (46.66:1) followed by endosulfan (32.44:1) and HaNPV (16.77:1) and lowest (3.11:1) in T. chilonis treatment.
