The correlation studies were made on physical character (hardness, moisture & damaged grain) with fecundity, F1 progeny and index susceptibility while loss in weight and damaged grain correlated with hardness and moisture. The hardness of the grain showing significant negative correlation with F1 progeny (−0.806) and index susceptibility (−0.866). It means the increased hardness, decrease the growth and development and vice-versa. The moisture content of the grain having significant positive correlation with fecundity (0.524) and index susceptibility (0.665). The loss in weight and damaged grain showing significant positive correlation with F1 progeny and index susceptibility that increased fecundity, F1 progeny and index susceptibility.
