Abstract

Surveys on plant parasitic nematodes were conducted in 9 districts of Andhra Pradesh during 2005–2006. Different genera of plant parasitic nematodes were found associated with economical important crops. Out of 1478 samples collected, 1152 were found to contain plant parasitic nematodes belonging to 15 genera and 48 species. The species diversity was mapped up to village level in selected districts of Andhra Pradesh.
