The treatments involving Pseudomonas fluorescens with or without tryptophan along with and without FYM were superior in decreasing the stem rot incidence (22.8 & 25.2%). In addition, the same treatments gave increased pod yield (1441 & 1372 kg ha−1) and haulm yield (3045 & 2953 kg ha−1) besides decreasing pods left over in soil (118 & 117 kg ha−1) and leaf drop (259 & 280 kg ha−1) than other treatments.
