IDM of Mung bean Yellow Mosaic Disease

Two sprays of imidacloprid @ 0.24 ml/l along with imidacloprid @ 5 g/kg seed treatment and 2 sprays of imidacloprid @ 0.24 ml/l alone recorded least mean disease incidence of 30.2 and 30.3% with least vector populations of 1.87 and 1.73 whiteflies leaf. Marigold as trap crop along with yellow sticky traps (8/ha) recorded a mean disease incidence of 50.7% with 4.0 whiteflies/plant maize as border row was proved ineffective which recorded highest mean disease incidence of 44.5%.
