Five species of Tagetes viz. T. erecta cv Indian Yellow, cv Maurel yellow, cv Atlantis orange, T. minuta and T. patula were screened against Meloidogyne incognita under microplot conditions. Among them, T. erecta cv Indian yellow recorded the maximum plant growth parameters followed by T. erecta cv Maurel yellow. The performance of T. minuta and T. erecta were on par with each other. Successive tomato crops raised in the same microplot showed better performance than control. Among the Tagetes sp. tomato after T. erecta cv Indian yellow showed best performance followed by T. erecta cv Maurel yellow. Least performance was observed in T. minuta.
