Abstract

Nematode reproduction was found to be minimum in sandy loam soil as compared to other types of soil when VAM was inoculated along with nematode. The plant growth parameters were found to be reduced in the treatments receiving nematode alone, but increased growth was observed when soil were supplemented with VAM fungus. VAM spore population in soil and mycorrhizal colonization in root were found higher in coarse textured soil as compared to clay soil.
