Based on LC50 value the 4 day-old larvae was 7.5, 7.3, 17.9 and 10.8-times susceptible than that of 7 day-old larvae to cypermethrin, fenvalarate, lambdacyhalothrin and profenophos, respectively. The joint action ratios for different insecticides synergist mixture evaluated against 4 day old larvae, resulted synergistic effect when piperonyl butoxide and dihydrodillapiole were separately mixed with cypermethrin; piperonyl butoxide, dillapiole and dihydrodillapiole with fenvalarate and piperonyl butoxide with profenophos. Piperonyl butoxide and dillapiole synergised all four insecticider, whereas dihydrodillapiole synergised only cypermethrin, fenvalarate and lambdacyhalothrin when evaluated against 7 day old larvae. The effect of vanillin oxime ether in mixed formulations with cypermethrin, fenvalarate, and profenophos was found to be additive.
