Abstract

The results of 118 deep water cultivated rice accessions revealed that NDGR-398, TCA-4, TCA-269, TCA-12, Baoyaz-177, Jalanidhi, LPR-8, LPR-85, Kariawa, IET-10084, CN-579-363-3-1, NDGR-410, Dayang, IR-5533-14-1-1, NDGR-421 and IET-10029, LPR-56-49, Bengdang Kumini and IR-4547-2-1-2 showed resistant and TCA-19, TCA-24, NDGR-151 and IET-10027 showed moderately resistant reaction at vegetative stage under controlled conditions. Considering the parameters like tolerance ratio (TR), DH, DS, TIn % reduction in plant biomass, the accessions like NDGR-398, NDGR-410, LPR-8, Jalanidhi, TCA-4, Kariawa, NDGR-421, Baoyaz-177, IET-10084, CN-579-363-3-1, TCA-269 were found to be most tolerant.
