Abstract

The mortality of 2nd stage juveniles of Memoidogyni incognita to various concentrations and exposure periods in culture filtrates revealed that the increase of concentrations and exposure periods, correspondingly enhanced the mortality significantly. Culture filtrates of Trichoderma viride and Paecilomyces lilacinus and phorate were found to be quite active against M. incognita juveniles. But nimin, a neem pesticide was least effective. When 5 egg messes were exposed to culture filtrates for 5 and 10 days, resulted similar trend in hyatching of J2, however maximum inhibition of hatching was recorded in phorate, followed by bioagents filtrates in 10 days exposure at 80% concentration.
