Compatibility of Beauveria bassiana Balsamo with Vermicomposts from Oilcake based feed mixtures

For ascertaining the degree of compatibility of Beauveria bassiana with vermicompost prepared from cow dung alone and in combination with three oilcakes viz; neem, castor and karanj cakes. The results revealed that the population of B. bassiana maintained increasing trend up to 30 days and started to decrease from 45^th day of inoculation in vermicompost derived from different types of feed mixtures. Its population in oilcake based vermicomposts, however, recorded a decline of 8.6 to 42.4,10.9 to 47.4 and 13.0 to 48.7% at 15,30 and 45 days of inoculation, respectively over its corresponding population in vermicompost from cow dung alone, maximum and minimum values being in the vermicompost from cow dung + castor cake (4.5: 0.5), respectively.
