Abstract

Trials on efficacy of five IPM modules for the management of Helicoverpa armigera in chick pea were conducted on twenty farmer's fields during rabi 2006–2007 and 2007–2008. On the basis of evaluation, it was found that the population of Helicoverpa armigera was reduced significantly in module-5, where two sprayings of endosulfan 0.07% followed by M3>M2>M4>M1 in decreasing order. The highest seed yield and cost benefit ratio (24.71 q/ha, 1:5.27) was found in M5 followed by M3, M2 M4 and M1 during both the years.
