Abstract

Soil application of FYM @ 2.5/ha + T. viride @ 5 kg/ha + neem cake @ 0.2 t/ha was the most effective treatment in controlling disease (25 PDI) and was followed by metalaxyl @ 1.5% + neem cake @ 0.2 t/ha (27 PDI). However, the disease incidence was 48 % in untreated control. Vermicompost + neem cake was the most effective treatment in recording maximum yields (28806 kg/ha). The low disease incidence could be attributed to mycoparasitization, antibiosis and competition of the biological control agent against the disease causing fungus.
