Abstract

The different concentrations of SAAF (carbendazim12% & mancozeb 63%) found to be quite effective however, high dose was most effective in reducing spore germination and mycelial growth of Drechslera oryzae. Comparative evaluation of SAAF with other fungicides (companion & carbendazim) and biocides (neem & T. harzianum) revealed that SAAF was effective at various concentrations. The minimum disease incidence with 12.5% was also recorded by foliar spray of SAAF @ 0.75% which was followed by carbendazim @ 0.5% (15.8 %).
