Abstract

On the basis of evaluation, it was found that the lowest pest incidence was recorded in late sown crop (D2) than the early sown crop (D1). The lowest jassid population (13.45/15 leaves) and fruit damage (7.3%) as well as lowest fruit yield loss (3.03 q/ha) were recorded in P1 pesticide schedule (imidacloprid 200 SL 10ml/kg seeds-endosulfan 35 EC, 0.07%-cypermethrin 10 EC, 0.006%) which was followed by P2P5P4P3P6P7 in increasing order. The highest healthy fruit yield and cost benefit ratio (39.03 q/ha & 1:6.67) were also found in P1 pesticide schedule. The combination treatments viz., first pesticide schedule and late sown crop (P1D1) proved significant superior over all other combination treatments.
