Fifty germplasms of chick pea were screened against collar rot caused by Sclerotium rolfsii found KG-1226, KG-8, B-321, and B-311, were moderately resistant. Seed treatment with Trichoderma viride and in combination with quintozene, mancozeb, thiram and captan, reduced seedling infection and ultimately recorded better seed germination. The disease incidence was low (16%) sown on 1st October and enhanced with the passage of time.
