Abstract

The highest concentration of Beauveria bassiana (7.6x 108 conidia ml−1) and Metarhizium anisopliae (2.3x 108 conidia ml−1) showed 20.0 and 26.7% mortality of maggots of Bactrocera dorsalis, respectively after ten days of treatment in laboratory condition. However, maximum % reduction in adult emergence of fruit fly was obtained in chlorpyriphos 20EC followed by the highest concentration of M. anisopliae @ 2 x 1010 conidia ml−1 after 15 days of spraying in Pear orchard.
