An experiment was performed in order to find out the effect of density on survival, developmental duration as well as mortality on different stages of 28-spotted epilachna beetle. The results specified that density had insignificant effect on the survival and mortality of the larvae at different instars of Epilachna vigintioctopunctata but it significantly affected the developmental duration. Single event of cannibalism also supported density to act as a factor when fastened with mortality.
