Abstract

The peak activity of Pectinophora gossypiella adults was observed from October, 2012 to February, 2013. Maximum temperature and relative humidity was found to be positively correlated on pheromone trap catch of P. gossypiella adults while, other weather parameters, minimum temperature and rainfall had highly significant negative influence on the pheromone trap catch of pink bollworm. The range of male moth captured during the season was 4 nos/5trap/week to 28 nos/5 trap/week.
