Bio-efficacy of insecticides against whitefly and leafhopper of Tomato under Field conditions

Abstract

The total two sprays were given when sucking pests complex were severe on tomato to cause economic damage. For control of whitefly and leafhopper, fipronil 5% SC was found most effective insecticide among selected six insecticides along with control followed by profenofos 50% EC. The remaining insecticides found following order; indoxacarb 14.5% SC > NSKE 5% > spinosad 45% SC > NPV. All the treatments differed significantly from each other.
