Abstract

The life cycles of Tetranychus urticae completed in four active stages, viz., larva, protonymph, deutonymph and adult. The incubation period was 3.2 ± 0.27 and 3.4 ± 0.54 days. The other developmental stages, were larva, protonymph and deutonymph completed 2.7 ± 0.83,3.0 ± 0.70 and 3.2 ± 0.57 days at an average temperature of 30.1°C to 32.5°C, relative humidity 75.0% and 1.20 ± 0.25, 2.3 ± 0.25 and 2.5 ± 0.35 days at temperature 36.1°C to 38.5°C, relative humidity 54%, respectively. The time required to complete the life cycle was 9.2 ± 0.55 days and 12.3 ± 1.35 days, respectively in two temperatures and R.H.
