Abstract

Pooled analysis of two seasons data indicated that the new formulation of emamectin benzoate 5 WG at 125 and 150 g/ha were able to reduce more than 90% of the population of fruit borer and leaf feeder and also fruit damage, caused by fruit borers which were superior than emamectin benzoate 5 SG at 135 and 170 g/ha, lambda cyhalothrin 5 CS at 300 ml/ha and pyridalyl 10% EC at 500 ml/ha and untreated check. The above doses of emamectin 5 WG recorded the highest fruit yield of 17.89 and 17.45 t/ha.
