Abstract

All the new insecticide molecules were observed to be effective in reducing the heavily infestation of shoot borer in sugarcane. Rynaxyyr 20 SC was found to be significantly control early shoot borer followed by flubendiamide 480 SC and fipronil 5 SC. The dead hearts % was significantly low in all the insecticidal treatments as compared to untreated control.
