A field study was carried out to asses the effectiveness of different combination of chlorantraniliprole 9.3% + lambda cyhalothrin 4.7% against red spider mites (Tetranychus modicella) and shoot and fruits borer (Leucinodis orbonalis) of brinjal crop. The most effective combination was chlorantraniliprole 9.3% + lambdacyhalothrin 4.7% @ 200 ml/ha or 28 g a i/ha and gave maximum fruit yield along with maximum increase in yield during both the years of experimentation as compared to dose of 250 ml/ha and 150 ml/ha of same combination against pests of brinjal. The combination doses did not cause any phytotoxicity to the crop.
