Abstract

Out of seven fungicides tested, difenconazole 25 EC and tricyclazole 75WP inhibited mycelial growth of the fungus by more than 80% at 200 ppm concentration. In field, minimum (14.2%) disease severity and maximum (3.70 t/ha) yield found with difenconazole 25EC (0.1%). Among plant extracts, Azadirachta indica and Aloe vera were effective as they produced growth inhibition ranging, respectively, between 26.8 to 48.3% and 25.6 to 46.3%. Spraying of plant extracts, Azadirachta indica showed minimum (28.7%) disease severity and maximum (1.90 t/ha) yield.
